Maths Tuition
Does your child find Maths tricky to understand?
Or maybe they just need a little extra practice before their Sats test or 11+?
Or are they struggling to remember times-tables?

At Firbanks Tuition, we enjoy making Maths fun! Concrete equipment helps all children to understand Mathematical ideas more easily, so we use games, cubes, computers, paper and card to solve problems and explore ideas.
Of course, we then relate our new-found skills to more formal Maths such as addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. Problem solving is incorporated in all sessions too, usually involving challenges or puzzles to solve.

I am very happy to accommodate small groups of children in Maths sessions, as long as they are in the same year group or working at a similar level.
